Halloween Activities!

There is no other time, besides Halloween, that sweet and scary work in perfect harmony. On this day we love to trick and treat!  Whether your little one likes to raise a scare or not; it’s an opportunity to get creative and spend time with your little pumpkin, so here are some creepy craft activities to keep your family busy this Halloween.
Easy Pumpkin Stamp Art
What you need: An Apple, Paper, Paint (orange, green, and black)
  • Begin by cutting your apple in half, make sure that the flat side is smooth and ready for printing!
  • Dip the flat side of the apple into the orange paint, place it down on your paper, and apply pressure.
  • Repeat this until you have as many little pumpkin prints that your heart desires and wait 10 minutes for the paint to dry.
  • From there you can add all of the spooky extras, like the pumpkin eyes and mouth, and the little green sprout at the top.
  • If you really want to level up this arts and crafts session, then throw in some googly eyes on the pumpkins.
Flying Bat Crafts
What you need: Paper, Clothes Peg, Glue
  • Start by cutting out your bat from the piece of paper - you can freehand this or use a stencil (up to you!) Put it to one side.
  • Now, we need to cut a strip of paper which is an inch wide and slightly shorter in length than the wings of your bat.
  • Once you have that, place your bat face down on a table, then place your peg in the center of the bat with the opening of the peg facing the bat's head. Now, we’re going to place the paper strip over the clothes peg and glue the ends to the wings of the bat.
  • Let it dry and voila!
Want to get out of the house?

Go to a pumpkin patch

  • From patch to patio, you'll have taken your little pumpkins on the full journey to make some super cute jack o'lanterns.
